BEEE offers expertise in education and project management. We support projects that give people access to new opportunities.

That is, opportunities to gain skills and qualifications and to take part in new activities. The focus of BEEE is split between construction (BEEE Skilled) and dance (BEEE Creative), two very different industries but all our work is underpinned by the one core value of inspiring individuals to engage with high quality learning experiences.

BEEE Services Offered:

  • Setting up and managing accredited construction courses
  • Advice and guidance on Alternative Education for schools/colleges
  • Project management of dance events
  • Strategic development of dance activities
  • Dance teaching and lecturing

Available in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and neighbouring counties.

BEEE is directed by experienced teacher, David Washington and professionally trained dancer, teacher and project manager, Carrie Washington.

David Washington, BA (Hons), PGCE

Dave initially trained in construction but moved in to teaching physical education in secondary education in the 1990’s.  Dave currently teaches P.E., I.C.T., land based studies and construction.  Additionally, Dave works as a Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator (SENDCO) and deals with students who require an alternative education on a day-to-day basis.  He has supported work through various schools, local authorities and charities on matters such as SEND and alternative education.

Carrie Washington, BA (Hons), MA, AISTD

Carrie has a commitment and passion for providing arts opportunities, with a specialism in dance, because of the positive impact she believes arts engagement has on people’s lives.

Carrie is a professionally trained dancer (English National Ballet School, Middlesex University, University of Bedfordshire) and she has worked consistently for eighteen years in the dance sector, including teaching and management roles (Rambert Dance Company, dancedigital and others). Carrie is also a lecturer at Trinity Laban on the Postgraduate Course in Community Dance and a visiting lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire and Middlesex University.
